Enhance Your Ultrasound Skills

Registration is now open for the inaugural Perioperative Ultrasound Course which will enhance your knowledge and ability in the rapidly expanding field of perioperative ultrasound.

The reverse classroom model enables participants to learn online through a course offered by iTeachU before attending a 1-day, hands-on workshop on May 21 in Atlanta, GA, in conjunction with the 2017 Echo Week.

Following these online and hands-on experiences, you will be prepared to bring your new skills back to your institution. Post-meeting, you will be able to use an online log book to document the supervised perioperative ultrasound studies that you perform.

We encourage you to verify and make necessary updates to your address in the SCA database on a regular basis. Please call our member services department toll free at 855.658.2828 or log in to the SCA website to update your address now.

SCA Bulletin Submission Guidelines

Submissions to the SCA Bulletin are encouraged. All content should be submitted via e-mail to as a Microsoft Word document, with images and videos provided as attachments (minimum 72 dpi resolution, but 96 dpi is preferred). Please do not insert images into the Word document because that results in reduction of quality. Any other assets, such as videos, must be provided as attachments or external links. Please use a byline that includes credentials, affiliations, and the city and state of those affiliations. SCA adheres to AMA style when possible, including citations and references.
