General Information

The 40th Annual Meeting & Workshops will take place from April 28-May 2, 2018. The 7th Annual Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium (TAS) will be held on April 27th, 2018.

Meeting Packages

  • SCA Annual Meeting Only: 

    This registration includes all general sessions and other events from Saturday, April 28 - Wednesday, May 2. Annual Meeting-Only registrants may attend one of the optional PBLDs offered each morning of the meeting, plus all Annual Meeting Workshops (separate paid registration required).

Become a member of SCA and register for the conference at the reduced member rate. Be sure to select the "Become a Member" option and check the appropriate membership category.


Fellow/Resident Registration

Full-time fellows and medical residents; documentation must be submitted to info@scahq.org from your department chairperson or program director verifying Fellow/Resident status. Please include the start and end dates of your program.


Visa Letter Request

Individuals traveling from outside of the United States wishing to attend an SCA event may request a Letter of Invitation.

If you need special assistance, please check the appropriate box on the registration form. SCA office staff will be in touch for further details.


Program Changes Policy

SCA reserves the right to substitute faculty or cancel or reschedule sessions because of low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If SCA must cancel the entire meeting, registrants will receive a full credit or refund of their paid registration fee. No refunds can be made for lodging, airfare, or any other expenses related to attending the meeting.


Attendee Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing. A $100 processing fee will be charged for all cancellations postmarked more than 14 days before the event. No refunds will be made under any circumstances on cancellations postmarked after April 13, 2018. No refunds will be provided for optional sessions after April 13, 2018.
