Mission
WICTA is a special interest group within the Society for Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists (SCA). Our mission is to ensure excellence in quality of patient care through promoting a diverse, inclusive and equitable professional community in our specialty. WICTA was created with the purpose of recruiting, developing and promoting women and underrepresented minority physicians as leaders in cardiothoracic anesthesiology.
Purpose
The purpose of this group is to provide networking and support of women via sponsorship, mentorship and education.
Parent Committee
The special interest group reports directly to the Board of Directors.
