SCA/STS Database
SCA partnered with the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) in 2013 to implement a web-based anesthesiology module in the Adult Cardiac Surgery Database component of the STS National Database
E-Manual of Cardiac Anesthesia
This tool for SCA members covers a variety of topics, ranging from Anesthesia for Adult Congenital Heart Surgery to Aortic and Mitral Valve Surgery.
Salary Survey
Every other year, SCA’s Economics and Governmental Affairs Committee conducts an anonymous salary survey of active and associate SCA members to provide reliable salary information to participants.
Survey Requests
If you’re an SCA member interested in conducting a survey among the membership, you must submit a proposal that includes a background and rationale, IRB approval or waiver, and a completed survey request checklist. The proposal will be reviewed by the SCA Executive Office and Research Committee. Upon approval, you’ll need to provide your survey link and a cover note for distribution.
