Course Description and Objectives

Echo Board Review course aims to ensure that physicians are using the most up to date guidelines when utilizing echocardiography in the peri-operative setting.

  • Prepare physicians for the National Board of Echocardiography Inc. ™ (NBE) Advanced PTEeXAM ® examination.
  • Discuss essentials of Physics for ultrasound imaging and apply knowledge to answering multiple choice questions.
  • Multiple choice question review composed of advanced perioperative TEE topics as set out by the NBE curriculum.

Accreditation and Designation Statements

The Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists designates this activity for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
