Dear Thoracic Anesthesiology Colleagues,
Please plan to join us at the 12th Annual Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium and Workshops in Toronto, Canada! We look forward to our exchange of ideas, techniques, and advances in the field of Thoracic Anesthesia.
We recognize how valuable your time is and the wide array of choices available to you for continuing medical education. In addition to didactic sessions presented by international experts in Thoracic Anesthesia the Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium Planning Committee is also excited to present a selection of updated and improved Workshops featuring hands on experience with newly enhanced 3D printed models and an augmented reality technology for regional anesthesia.
Our goals for the Symposium are to provide updates in critical topics in Thoracic Anesthesia, to enhance learning of important techniques and skills, to promote discussion and debate of controversial topics in our field and to facilitate networking. We are also pleased to offer new research and challenging case presentations in both poster and oral presentation formats and several problem-based learning discussions submitted by you, our SCA members.
2024 brings a new and unique opportunity for the Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium. Because of our proximity (in time and space) to the 2024 Meeting of the American Association for Thoracic Surgery, we are especially pleased to be able to feature international experts from Thoracic Surgery in the Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium program.
Each session is designed to present clear and timely information pertinent to our unique specialty. We look forward to reconnecting with old colleagues and meeting new ones.
On behalf of the SCA and the 12th Annual Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium and Workshops, we look forward to seeing you in Toronto!
Sincerely,
Randy Blank, M.D., Ph.D.
