Overall comments regarding your program. We are a state-of-the art cardiothoracic and vascular referral center. Our case mix includes standard open-heart procedures (CABG, CABG-valve), minimally invasive valve (aortic, mitral, tricuspid) repair and replacement, adult and pediatric congenital heart procedures (at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas), advance heart failure therapies including LVAD implantation, pulmonary hypertension center including pulmonary thrombectomies for CTEP, and robotic thoracic procedures. We are a major heart/lung/liver transplant center serving the Southwest, Midwest, and lower Mississippi River valley. We are also a designated ECMO referral center. Growing structural heart program including Mitra-clip, TAVR (both Sapien and CoreValve), TMVR, and Watchman LAAO. Upgraded advanced Philips CVx ultrasound workstations available for perioperative echocardiography. Highly skilled and experienced faculty with 2 NIH funded researchers. One of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country,
