Dear Colleagues,
Please plan to join us at the 14th Annual Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium and Workshops in Nashville, TN on April 23, 2026! We are excited to see you there for a robust exchange of ideas, techniques, and advances in the field of Thoracic Anesthesia.
We recognize how valuable your time is and the many choices available to you for continuing medical education. In addition to didactic sessions presented by international experts in Thoracic Anesthesia, the Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium Planning Committee is excited to offer updated workshops featuring hands on experience with advanced lung isolation techniques, precision ultrasound guidance for regional and neuraxial anesthesia, and selected POCUS techniques. With 3 workshops available and 3 workshop time slots throughout the day, there is no need to pick and choose – you can experience them all included with your registration.
As always, we aim for the Symposium to provide you with critical updates on relevant topics in Thoracic Anesthesia, to enhance your learning of important techniques and skills, to promote discussion and debate of controversial topics in our field, and to facilitate networking. We are also pleased to offer novel research and challenging case presentations in both poster and oral presentation formats as well as several problem-based learning discussions. Each session is thoughtfully designed to present clear and timely information pertinent to our unique subspecialty.
During the months leading up to our meeting in Nashville, please check out the SCA DocMatter Thoracic Channel (DLT Exchange) for lively discussions curated by our Planning Committee members along with teasers of our 2026 Symposium content.
Please note the new TAS/SCA meeting format for 2026, with the TAS meeting planned for Thursday April 23 and the SCA meeting planned for Friday April 24 through Sunday April 26.
