Overall comments regarding your program. We are a state-of-the art cardiothoracic and vascular referral center. Our case mix includes standard open-heart procedures (CABG, CABG-valve), minimally invasive valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery including DHCA, adult and pediatric congenital heart procedures (at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas), advanced heart failure therapies including LVAD implantation, pulmonary hypertension center including pulmonary thrombectomies for CTEPH, and robotic thoracic procedures. We are a major heart/lung/liver transplant center serving the Southwest, Midwest, and lower Mississippi River valley. We are also a designated ECMO referral center. Growing structural heart program including M-TEER, T-TEER, TAVR (both Sapien and CoreValve), TMVR, PFO closure, and Watchman LAAO. Upgraded advanced Philips CVx ultrasound workstations available for perioperative echocardiography. Highly skilled and experienced faculty with and NIH funded research. One of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country.
