The mission of the SCA Regional Anesthesia for Cardiothoracic Enhanced Recovery Special Interest Group (RACER SIG) is to promote safe, effective and efficient application of regional anesthesia in cardiothoracic anesthesia.

The RACER SIG will facilitate networking and collaboration between institutions at various stages of implementation of regional techniques in their cardiothoracic surgery population.

The mission of the RACER SIG will be to promote SCA and apply SCA branding when presenting topics, workshops and outcome studies related to the use of regional techniques in cardiac anesthesia and surgery.
